Summary
The AIMS-H2O (Atmospheric chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer) will provide fast measurements of the atmospheric water vapor concentration. The time resolution of 10Hz will allow for a horizontal data resolution of 20 m, which is particular important in clouds. The instrument will detect water vapor concentrations down to few ppmv with a high accuracy.
