 Summary:: The MTP is a microwave temperature profiler with a long-lasting heritage on many other aircraft which provides the 2-dim temperature structure above and below the aircraft with a temporal resolution of ~20 s. The accuracy is ~1K up to a distance of 3km and ~2K up to a distance of 6km from the aircraft, respectively.
