In addition several conventional long-lived tracers (N2O, CFCs, CH4 and SF6) are measured in situ via GC/ECD with a time resolution of 90 s, and CO2 is measured via NDIR with a time resolution of about 3 s. In an alternative configuration, the GC/MS module can measure a number of short-lived halocarbon tracers instead of the artificial tracers, also with about 1 minute time resolution.
