 Summary:: AMALFI is a state-of-the-art differential absorption lidar (DIAL) that combines the measurement of water vapour and ozone profiles as well as aerosol optical properties with high vertical (~100m) and horizontal resolution (~10km) from the ground to the lower stratosphere (Wirth et al., 2009).
